AI and MCP
Ask in the app, or connect your own agent to the same data over MCP.

An example: an AI agent in a code editor, connected to Spreelytics over MCP, says how the site is doing, builds a funnel from pricing to signup, and marks a release on the charts.

FAQ
The things people ask before pointing their traffic at something new.
One script tag in your page head. Pageviews, sessions, referrers and campaigns start arriving straight away. You do not have to name any events first.
The dashboard tells you when it has seen your first hit, so you know it worked without waiting a day to find out.
By default, one first-party cookie, so returning visitors are recognised. There are no third-party cookies and no cross-site tracking. Your events stay in your workspace and are never shared with ad networks.
You can also switch a project to cookieless mode. It sets no cookie and stores nothing else in the visitor's browser. Your snippet stays the same. An anonymous visitor then counts as new each day, and retention only covers people you have identified.
Either mode might need a banner, depending on your jurisdiction and what else you collect. Ask whoever handles privacy at your company, and we will tell them exactly what is stored.
GA4 can answer many of the same questions, but funnels, paths, cohorts and single-user timelines live in its Explore builder. You assemble each one yourself, and large queries can come back sampled. Here they are ready-made pages, next to the revenue each channel earned.
And your analytics never feed an advertising business.
Those started as product-analytics tools and added web analytics later. PostHog now has a dedicated web analytics section. Spreelytics started with acquisition, search and revenue attribution, and runs funnels and retention on the same events, so both sides share one set of numbers.
Pricing is also different. On Growth you pick an event volume and get every feature at that volume. There is no separate bill for each product and no tier you must call sales to unlock.
Nothing breaks and nothing gets dropped for merely being over, on any plan, Free included. You are warned at 90% of your allowance, and you move up a volume when it suits you.
There is a hard stop far above your allowance. It keeps a loop or a misconfigured snippet from burning through millions of events. It is set at three times your allowance up to the 1M size, and one and a half times above that, where half an allowance is already millions of events.
So a free account is warned at 90,000 events, is over its allowance at 100,000, and keeps collecting until 300,000.
Every Growth size has the same features, so moving up a size only gives you more events, and more session replays with them.
Yes, 100,000 events a month, with unlimited projects and unlimited team members. It never expires, and it keeps 13 months of history.
Free leaves out two things: session replay, and the AI assistant, which answers questions in plain English, builds reports for you and explains anomalies. Everything else is there from the start, including dashboards, funnels, retention, journeys, goals, revenue, the API and MCP.
Growth keeps five years of history and Free keeps 13 months. If you move to Free, your charts show the last 13 months straight away, and the older data waits 60 days in case you move back. After that it is deleted.
