What people ask before they switch it on.
Can the AI change my data?
It never changes your events. It only reads them. It can create what you ask for, such as a goal, funnel, report, dashboard, segment, chart annotation or notification rule. You can edit or delete each one yourself.
This is the same in the app and over MCP. Both act as you, with your role, so a view-only member can read and chart but not change anything. The AI never touches account settings, the projects themselves or billing.
Which AI clients work?
Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and VS Code all have copyable config in the app. Any MCP-speaking client can connect to the same endpoint.
Does my data get sent somewhere to train a model?
No. Your events are never sold, and never shared for advertising. To answer a question, the in-app assistant sends the question and the numbers it reads to Fireworks.ai, which runs the AI model. Fireworks may not use your data to train or improve any model.
Is AI included on the free plan?
No. The in-app AI assistant and session replay are the two things Free leaves out. Dashboards, funnels, retention, journeys, goals, the API and MCP access are all included.
