Compare·Cabin

Cabin keeps to one screen, by design.

Cabin is cookie-free analytics with a 2 KB script, and it estimates the carbon your pages emit. It never builds a visitor identifier, so it has no funnels and no history for any one person.

What Cabin is

Privacy-first, cookie-free web analytics that also estimates the carbon footprint of your pages.

Where Cabin wins.

If one of these is a must-have for you, go with them.

Carbon reports

Cabin estimates the energy and carbon behind each page, using The Green Web Foundation’s CO2.js. It comes with the Plus and Scale plans. We have nothing like it.

No visitor ID of any kind

Cabin counts unique visitors from the way browsers cache a request, so it never stores an ID or an IP address. Our default is one first-party cookie, and cookieless is a switch you turn on per project.

Blocked crawlers show up too

On its paid plans, if your site is behind Cloudflare, Cabin reads AI crawler requests from your Cloudflare account. That includes requests Cloudflare blocked, which never reach your server. Our middleware, a small piece of code on your server, only sees the requests that reach it.

Where Spreelytics wins.

Every line here is a page in the product today.

Reports past the first screen

Funnels and journeys are pages you open here, on every plan including Free. Cabin’s own comparison page says it has no funnels and no saved segments, on purpose.

One person’s whole history

In our default mode a visitor keeps one identity, so you can read retention and one person’s timeline. Cabin never builds a visitor identifier, so it cannot show either.

Revenue with attribution

Connect Stripe, Paddle, Polar or Lemon Squeezy, and each sale is credited to the visits that led to it. Last-touch gives it to the final visit, and linear splits it across every visit in a window you set. Cabin does not attribute revenue.

Crawlers on any host, on Free

Cabin sees AI crawlers only through a Cloudflare connection, on its paid plans. Our middleware counts them on your own server or in front of a static site, on every plan including Free.

Side by side.

We leave prices out because Cabin can change theirs at any time. Ours are on the pricing page.

Moving over.

Every one of these starts by leaving Cabin running.

01

Keep Cabin running

Add our snippet beside Cabin and compare two full weeks before you decide anything.

02

Give your events a goal

A Cabin event is a name and nothing more. Send the same events here, then turn the ones that matter into goals and chain them into a funnel.

03

Add the crawler middleware

Install our middleware on your server, or in front of a static site. AI crawlers then show up without a Cloudflare connection.

04

Connect your AI app

If you use Cabin’s MCP server, add ours beside it. One address and one account key cover every project in your account.

FAQ

Switching from Cabin.

What people ask before they switch.

Does Spreelytics report carbon like Cabin?

No. We do not estimate energy or carbon. If that report matters to you, Cabin has it and we do not.

Cabin needs no consent banner. Does Spreelytics?

We will not claim you can skip it, in either of our modes. By default we set one first-party cookie, so a returning visitor keeps one identity. Cookieless mode stores nothing in the browser instead.

Cabin has one mode and stores nothing in the browser, so its answer is simpler than ours. Ask whoever handles privacy at your company which of our modes fits.

Both have MCP. What is different?

MCP is an open standard that lets AI apps such as Claude connect to a service. Both of us run an official MCP server on every plan, and both can make changes as well as read.

The difference is the data behind it. Ours can answer questions about funnels and retention because we collect that data. Cabin does not collect it, so its server cannot answer those questions.
