Compare·DataFast
Revenue-first like us, lighter on product analytics.
DataFast is the closest tool to ours: it ties payments to the channels that earned them and counts AI crawlers on your server. It starts with a trial rather than a free plan, and it has no retention report or flow of common paths.
What DataFast is
Revenue-first web analytics for founders and small teams, built to show which channels bring paying customers.

- Showing a founder which channels bring paying customers, with very little to set up.
Where DataFast wins.
If one of these is a must-have for you, go with them.
More ways to bring revenue in
Beyond the four providers we both connect, DataFast also takes Shopify and WooCommerce. Its store integrations track visitors and revenue with no script to paste.
Subscription numbers
DataFast breaks subscription numbers such as MRR, churn, upgrades and downgrades down by the channel that brought each customer. We show MRR and ARR, but no churn, upgrade or downgrade figures.
Ad spend beside revenue
Its Meta Ads connection puts your spend and return on ad spend next to attributed revenue. Our reports stop at revenue per channel.
Extras for founders who post
It shows who mentions you on X and Reddit, in full on its Growth plan, and which posts led to sales. It also has phone apps for iOS and Android.
Where Spreelytics wins.
Every line here is a page in the product today.
A free plan, not a trial
Our Free plan takes 100k events a month, forever, across unlimited projects and team members. DataFast starts with a 14-day trial, and after that every plan is paid.
Credit you choose
Pick last-touch or linear per project, over a lookback window from 1 to 90 days. Linear splits a sale across every visit in the window, so channels that helped early still score. DataFast’s docs do not describe a choice of model.
Product analytics past the funnel
Retention grids work for any segment you save. Journeys draw the top paths as one flow, and you can walk back from any page. DataFast shows new against returning visitors, and journeys one visitor at a time.
Crawlers outside your allowance
Both of us count AI crawlers on your server, in the same three groups. Ours never count toward your allowance. DataFast includes 100,000 crawler requests per billing cycle, then stops recording new ones until the next cycle unless you add capacity.
Side by side.
We leave prices out because DataFast can change theirs at any time. Ours are on the pricing page.

Moving over.
Every one of these starts by leaving DataFast running.
01
Run both for a fortnight
Two scripts, no cutover. Compare a full week of traffic and revenue against a full week.
02
Add our id to your checkout
DataFast reads its visitor id from your checkout metadata. Add ours beside it, then connect the same payment provider here.
03
Add our crawler middleware
Both tools count crawlers on your server. Run our middleware next to theirs and compare the two crawler views for a week.
04
Pick your attribution model
Choose last-touch or linear and a lookback window. Then see whether your top channels change.
FAQ
Switching from DataFast.
What people ask before they switch.
DataFast also tracks revenue and AI crawlers. What is different?
Less than on most of these pages. Both of us tie payments to the channels that earned them. Both count AI crawlers on your server, and both have an MCP server that can read and build.
We differ on the free plan and on the choice of attribution model. We go further on product analytics, and DataFast goes further on subscription numbers and ad spend.
Is your cookieless mode the same as DataFast’s?
Close. Both of us default to a first-party cookie, and both offer a cookieless mode where an anonymous visitor gets a new id about once a day.
Ours stores nothing in the browser at all, not even session storage. DataFast’s docs say its cookieless script may use session storage for the current tab.
Do I have to change my checkout again?
Only the metadata. DataFast reads its visitor id from your checkout metadata, and we read ours the same way. Pass both while you compare.
A payment without our id still counts toward your totals, but the channel reports file it under Direct.
