AI agents·Facebook Ads
It runs your Meta ads review in Claude or ChatGPT. Spend comes from Meta, sign-ups and revenue from your own site, and every campaign gets a keep, change or stop. Each change it makes is logged, so the next review starts from what worked.

Read https://spreelytics.com/ai-agents/facebook-ads and set up my Facebook Ads agent, one step at a time. Ask me what you need to know first. It reads this page and sets the agent up with you, one step at a time.
Why set it up
It runs on Spreelytics' free plan, Meta's own connector and open-source playbooks. There is no ads tool to pay for.
You give it your offer, your customers, your budget and the most you will pay for a customer. It works to your numbers, and asks before it changes anything.
Paste one line into Claude or ChatGPT. It reads this page and walks you through the rest. No code, nothing to host.
What it does
Spend from Meta next to sign-ups and revenue from your site, campaign by campaign, with a keep, change or stop for each one.
Campaigns and ad sets that spend without bringing sign-ups or revenue, caught before they use up the month's budget.
Frequency climbing while click-through falls, with the ads that need replacing named.
Headlines, primary text and hooks built from the angles that converted, ready to test.
One change at a time, with how long to run it and which result decides it.
It drafts budget and bid changes, applies them only when you approve, and logs each one.
What it runs on
Data warehouse and memory
Records every visit, sign-up and payment on your site and ties each one to the campaign that brought it. The agent reads its results here and keeps its log here.
Spend and changes
Meta's official connector. The agent reads spend and delivery for your campaigns, ad sets and ads, and changes them only after your yes.
Know-how
One file with the agent's routine and the playbooks it follows: Meta audits, creative, tests and budget maths, from open-source skills by Daniel Agrici and Corey Haines.
Where it runs
The agent lives in a project in the AI app you already use, and you talk to it there.
Why Spreelytics
An agent is only as good as what it can see. Spreelytics keeps every visit, sign-up and payment, tied to the campaign that brought it, and the agent's own record of what it changed.
Meta reports clicks, plus conversions it models and credits to itself. Spreelytics records what happened on your site after the click: who signed up, who paid, how much, and from which campaign.
Each change the agent makes is logged in Spreelytics with the result it expected, then the result it got. It reads that history before every recommendation, so it repeats what worked and drops what didn't.
Results and the log live in your analytics, not in one chat, so they carry over to every new chat, in either app. Each review asks Meta only for the latest spend, which keeps the agent inside Meta's API limits.
That's all you need to read.
Paste the line at the top into Claude or ChatGPT. Everything below is the setup your AI follows.
For your AI
The person who sent you this page wants a Facebook Ads agent. Walk them through the steps below one at a time, and confirm each one worked before moving on.
Before step 1, ask which app they use (Claude or ChatGPT), whether Spreelytics is already on their site, and whether they take payments. Never ask for passwords or keys in the chat: every connection here uses a sign-in page. These menus were checked on 27 October 2026. If one has moved, describe what to look for instead of insisting on these names.
Finish this before step 3. Step 3 signs in to the Spreelytics account, and signing up in the middle of connecting can mean starting the connection again.
In Meta Ads Manager, paste this into URL parameters on every ad. Meta fills in the names when someone clicks:
utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=paid-social&utm_campaign={{campaign.name}}&utm_content={{ad.name}}
Keep facebook as written. {{site_source_name}} fills in fb or ig, which Spreelytics files
under Paid Other instead of Paid Social. Tell them not to rename a live campaign: the agent matches
Meta's campaigns to Spreelytics' by name.
Spreelytics' MCP server is at:
https://mcp.spreelytics.com/mcp
On the Spreelytics approval page they pick their workspace and leave Allow changes on, which the
agent needs to keep its log. Check the connection with sply_list_audiences: their site should be
listed.
The agent reads spend from Meta, so this step is required. Add Meta's official connector the same way as Spreelytics, with this address:
https://mcp.facebook.com/ads
They sign in with Facebook and choose the ad account. If Meta's own setup page gives a different address for their account, use that one. Keep approvals on for any action that changes a campaign. Check the connection by asking Meta for the last 7 days of spend.
One ZIP holds the agent's routine and its playbooks: facebook-ads-agent.zip.
SKILL.md to the project's files in step 6. The agent then runs
without its bundled playbooks. They create a project called "Facebook Ads agent". Ask them these questions one or two at a time, then show the finished brief for them to paste into the project's instructions:
Business: [what they sell, in one sentence]
Customers: [who buys, in one sentence]
Landing page: [the page the ads send people to]
Meta ad account: [name or ID]
Monthly Meta budget: [amount]
Most they'll pay for one [sign-up / customer]: [amount]
Conversion: the Spreelytics goal "[goal name]" in the audience "[audience name]"
Judge a campaign only after [20] conversions.
The skill holds the rules: never change anything without a yes, judge campaigns on Spreelytics results, and log every change.
In the project, they ask: "Run this week's Facebook Ads review." Then log the tagging from step 2 as
the first entry: a Spreelytics reference dated today, titled Meta: UTM tags added to all ads. Say
what you will create and wait for a yes first.
