Free and cookie-free
It costs nothing, and it stores nothing in the browser, not even in local storage. We default to one first-party cookie. Cookieless is a per-project switch that someone has to turn on.
One click on Cloudflare sites
If your site already runs through Cloudflare, you switch it on in the dashboard and Cloudflare adds the script for you. Ours is a script tag you add yourself.
Page speed from real visitors
It reports Core Web Vitals, the page speed measures Google defined, as your visitors experience them. We do not measure page speed.
Control over AI crawlers
If your site runs through Cloudflare, AI Crawl Control can allow or block each AI crawler. Our middleware only records each crawl. It never blocks anything.

Never sampled
Cloudflare keeps full detail for 7 days, then keeps about a tenth of it. Its charts can also work from a sample. Every query here reads every row for the range you picked.
Campaigns and conversions
Cloudflare does not log query strings, so UTM tags never reach it. It has no custom events either. Here all five UTM fields are on every plan. Any page or event can be a goal, and goals chain into funnels.

Crawlers without a proxy
Cloudflare’s AI crawler reports need your site to run through its network. Unless you have its Enterprise bot management, they cover only the last 24 hours. Our middleware sits in your own server or edge code, so no proxy is needed.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is free. Why switch?
If page views and page speed are all you need, it may be enough. Our Free plan takes 100k events a month, forever. It adds campaign tracking and funnels, which Cloudflare leaves out, and it traces revenue to channels.
Will my numbers match Cloudflare’s?
No, and no two analytics tools ever do. Cloudflare keeps only a sample of data older than a week, and its charts can use a sample too. Ours read every row. We also drop datacenter traffic at ingest, so our visitor counts may be lower.
Can Spreelytics block AI crawlers?
No. Our middleware records each crawl and returns straight away, so the response is never held up. Blocking is a job for Cloudflare or your own server. We show you which crawlers came and how often.
