Compare·HockeyStack
Made for teams that sell through a pipeline.
HockeyStack joins CRM deals and ad spend into one view per account, with far more attribution models than ours. It starts with a demo or a trial, and it has no retention reports or crawler data.
What HockeyStack is
A B2B attribution platform that joins website visits and CRM deals per account, with AI agents for revenue teams.

Where HockeyStack wins.
If one of these is a must-have for you, go with them.
Your CRM and ad spend in one place
HockeyStack reads deals from Salesforce or HubSpot and spend from your ad accounts. That lets it show pipeline and return on ad spend for each campaign. We see your website and your payments, and nothing from a CRM or an ad account.
Accounts as well as people
It groups visitors and contacts under the company they work for. It also joins a personal email to a work email when they belong to the same person. Our timelines are per person, with no account view on top.
More ways to split the credit
Beyond linear and last touch, it has position-based and time decay models. You can also set custom weights or use its predictive model. Its lift reports estimate how much a channel really adds. Ours is last-touch or linear, over a window you set.
Where Spreelytics wins.
Every line here is a page in the product today.
A free plan with attribution in it
Our free plan takes 100k events a month, forever. Revenue attribution and MCP are part of it. HockeyStack starts with a demo or a trial, then a paid plan.
Revenue straight from your payments
Connect Stripe or Paddle, and the webhook is set up for you. Each sale is then traced to its channel, with no CRM in between. HockeyStack’s own setup guide asks for a CRM, either Salesforce or HubSpot.
Retention for any segment
Retention reports show who came back each week, and you can filter them to any segment. Funnels take up to eight steps of pages or events. HockeyStack has funnels and journeys, but no retention report.
AI crawlers on their own page
AI crawlers rarely run JavaScript, so we count them on your server and sort them by what they do. HockeyStack’s docs describe filtering bots out, with no report on them.
Side by side.
We leave prices out because HockeyStack can change theirs at any time. Ours are on the pricing page.

Moving over.
Every one of these starts by leaving HockeyStack running.
01
Keep HockeyStack for the pipeline
Your sales team reads accounts and deals there. Leave it running, because nothing here replaces that.
02
Add the snippet
Paste one script tag in your page head. Visits and their sources start arriving with nothing to name first.
03
Connect your payment provider
Pass the visitor id in your checkout metadata. Each sale is then traced to the visit that led to it.
04
Ask the product questions
Build a funnel from sign-up to first payment. Then read weekly retention for the people who paid.
FAQ
Switching from HockeyStack.
What people ask before they switch.
HockeyStack is cookieless by default. Is Spreelytics?
No. By default we set one first-party cookie, so a returning visitor is recognised as the same person.
You can switch a project to cookieless mode. Then nothing is stored in the browser, and an anonymous visitor gets a new id each day. HockeyStack works differently. Its cookieless mode recognises a returning visitor by a fingerprint built from device and browser details.
Whether either one needs a consent banner depends on where you are and what else you collect. Ask whoever handles privacy at your company.
We sell through a sales team. Is Spreelytics a fit?
For the pipeline, probably not. We do not read your CRM. Our revenue comes from your payment provider or from your own server.
Spreelytics fits best when people pay on your site. If deals close through sales calls, keep HockeyStack for that part.
Both have an MCP server. What is different?
Less than you might expect. Both are official, and both can read data and build reports within your own permissions.
They see different data. HockeyStack’s sees accounts and deals. Ours sees web and product analytics with revenue by channel, and it is on every plan, Free too.
