Compare·Triple Whale
It suits online stores more than software.
Triple Whale puts store orders and ad spend in one live view, and its AI can make changes in your ad accounts. Its free plan credits only the first or last click, and its MCP server is read-only.
What Triple Whale is
An analytics and attribution platform for online stores, with its own tracking pixel and an AI agent called Moby.

- Showing an online store which ads made money, with profit and repeat purchases in one place.
Where Triple Whale wins.
If one of these is a must-have for you, go with them.
Ad spend next to every order
It reads spend from your ad accounts and orders from your store, so it can show profit by campaign. We see your payments, and nothing about what you spent on ads.
Credit for ad views
It offers seven attribution models, and one of them credits verified ad views as well as clicks. Its Enterprise plan adds lift tests, which hold ads back from some people or places to measure what they add. Ours is last-touch or linear across visits.
An AI that can act
On the Automate plan, Moby can make changes in your ad accounts, such as budgets and new campaigns. It can also make ad creative and landing pages. Our assistant builds reports and dashboards, and it never touches your ads.
Data sent back to ad platforms
It sends first-party conversion data to platforms like Meta and Google, and syncs customer segments to them. We send nothing to ad platforms.
Where Spreelytics wins.

Linear credit on the free plan
Linear attribution splits each sale across every visit in the window, and it works on Free. Triple Whale’s free plan gives first or last click, and its multi-touch models start on the paid Foundation plan.
Payments from Stripe or Paddle
If you bill through Stripe or Paddle, each payment is traced to the visits that led to it. Polar and Lemon Squeezy work too. Triple Whale is built around store platforms such as Shopify.
An MCP server that builds
Our MCP server reads your data and can create reports and dashboards within your role, on every plan. Triple Whale’s MCP is read-only and comes with its paid plans.
AI crawlers, counted
We count AI crawlers on your server and sort them by what they do. Triple Whale’s AI Visibility measures how often AI answers mention your brand. That is a different question from which crawlers read your pages.
Side by side.
We leave prices out because Triple Whale can change theirs at any time. Ours are on the pricing page.

Moving over.
Every one of these starts by leaving Triple Whale running.
01
Keep Triple Whale on the ads
Ad spend and profit reporting stay in Triple Whale. Leave it running.
02
Run our snippet beside the pixel
Both scripts can run on the same pages. Visits and campaigns arrive here with nothing to name first.
03
Connect Stripe or Paddle
If that is how you bill, connect it in Settings. Then pass the visitor id in your checkout metadata.
04
Turn on linear credit
Switch the project to linear attribution. You then see which channels helped earlier in the path.
FAQ
Switching from Triple Whale.
What people ask before they switch.
We sell on Shopify. Is Spreelytics a fit?
For the store’s revenue, Triple Whale fits better. Our revenue comes from payment providers such as Stripe or Paddle, or from your own server.
The snippet works on any site where you can add a script tag. So you can still use us for traffic and funnels, while Triple Whale keeps the orders and the ad spend.
Triple Whale has Moby. What does Spreelytics have?
An assistant in the app builds reports from a plain question, on the Growth plan. Our MCP server lets your own AI app read your data and build reports, on every plan.
Moby goes further on the ad side. It can change your ads and make creative. Ours does not touch your ads.
How does the tracking differ?
By default we set one first-party cookie. You can switch a project to cookieless, and then nothing is stored in the browser. We join a person’s devices once you identify them.
Triple Whale’s pixel combines cookies with device signals, and with email addresses where it has them, to follow people across devices. That recovers more of each journey. It is also a different privacy trade-off from ours.
