AI assistant

Ask Spreelytics about your data in plain English, like "Why did traffic drop last week?" or "What are my top converting sources?", and the assistant answers with numbers and charts from your own audience. It can also build things and change your view.

Open it

• Type into Ask AI anything… at the top of the sidebar.
• Click Ask AI at the bottom of the sidebar, or in the Create menu.
• Click Why did this happen? on an insight to have it explain the change.
• When adding a report to a dashboard, describe the chart you want.

Questions use the date range of the page you're on, unless you name a different one.

What it can do

• Answer questions about your traffic, goals, funnels, people and revenue, with charts and tables in the reply.
• Build things: goals, funnels, segments, dashboards, reports and notification rules. Each one is an ordinary item you can open, edit or delete yourself.
• Change your view. Ask it to "show only mobile", "switch to the last 7 days" or "break this down by country", and the page you're on updates. It can also open a person's profile.

If your role in a workspace is Viewer, the assistant answers questions there but doesn't build or change anything.

Your chats

Every conversation is saved. Open Previous chats to go back to one, and click New chat to start fresh. You can delete a chat from the list.

Plans and usage

It's on the Growth plan. On the Free plan, the panel shows "AI is on the Growth plan" with an Upgrade plan button.

Each workspace has a monthly AI budget. Once it's used up, the message box says "AI budget reached for this month" until the next month starts, and you can click Request more usage to ask us for more.

You can also connect your own AI app, like Claude or ChatGPT, over MCP. It has the same tools, works on every plan, and doesn't use your workspace's AI budget.
